Russia Laughs in Europe’s Face

Vladimir Putin declared that all foreign armies located on Ukrainian territory will be considered legitimate targets for Russia. He also announced that he does not agree with the security guarantees proposed by Europe, which were discussed in Paris. There, Macron stated that 26 countries were ready to send armies to protect Ukraine after the war ends, but later it became clear that it was not at all certain which countries would actually be willing to send their soldiers.

Meanwhile, the Kremlin’s spokesperson categorically rejected such a possibility, emphasizing that this was one of the very reasons the war started in the first place. Relations between the United States and Russia are also quite interesting. The American Vice President attended the meeting for only 20 minutes before leaving. Of course, the current focus of the U.S. is in the Caribbean Sea, where business involving oil deposits is being arranged.

Russia stated that it sees Europe’s intensified efforts to prolong the war. At the same time, deals are being prepared with the U.S. in the Russian Arctic, where fuel extraction will take place without European involvement. Europe, it seems, lacks strong economic ambitions. They are not even resisting the flood of fragile imports from China—cheap goods made of low-quality materials that force people to get used to things breaking. Perhaps Europe expects to profit from sales taxes, logically wanting higher sales volume, since when something breaks you have to buy a new one more often.

Zelensky refused a meeting in Moscow to negotiate peace, a move that would have placed him on equal footing simply by being invited. Naturally, he has no benefit from ending the war, since that would push him out of the spotlight. While he remains there, the money continues to flow.

Germany announced it has no intention of sending troops—perhaps only weapons. Italy also will not send troops. Poland declared the same. Hungary and Slovakia are in complete refusal as well. This means that all the countries which tried to invade Ukraine during World War II categorically do not want to send troops a second time.

Overall, things are in a holding pattern until the United States makes a decision. But the U.S. first wants to secure positions in the Caribbean (South America), where it will fight drug cartels while simultaneously beginning oil extraction. The U.S. has already cut $330 million in funding for the Baltic states intended for fighting Russia.

This is the current situation: Russia refuses to accept Europe’s peace guarantees, which are tied to sending troops into Ukraine. Europe seems ready to fuel the war with soldiers and weapons, while the U.S. is thinking purely economically and is prepared to do business with anyone in order to strengthen its economy.
